|Location||Southfields Village School|
|Event Name||Womens Ride Day|
The Brampton Cycling Club's Women's Day Ride will begin and end at the Southfields Village School parking lot located at 110 Learmont Ave in Caledon. The school is just east of Kennedy Rd about 1 km north of Mayfield Rd.
We will begin the Event with a Group Riding Clinic in the parking lot which will run for about 30 minutes. Bring your street shoes for this session. Then we'll put on our helmets (and cycling shoes if you have them) and head out on our bikes for a ride of ~40km on some beautiful cycling roads in the Town of Caledon.
The posted route URL in the info link below is one option for our ride! We may divide into a couple of groups based on the number and experience level of the participants.
Please register for the ride using the following CCN link https://ccnbikes.com/#!/events/2019-oca-ontario-womens-ride-day-brampton-cycling-club
Note the two posted routes include a 40km route going through Caledon East and a longer 51km route also going through Caledon East. The longer route uses The Grange Side Rd and Patterson Side Rd and includes a bit more hill climbing. The tour leaders and participants can decide on which route to use at the start.
