Title: Fil Carnevale
Post by: John Bachmann on October 24, 2022, 05:44:51 PM
This past Sunday, on a ride with some friends, Fil Carnevale had a "medical episode" and collapsed off his bike.  There was no interaction with any other vehicle and road conditions were not an issue. Fil was taken to Orangeville Hospital and then transferred to Sunnybrook where he passed away on Sunday without regaining consciousness.

Fil was a valued member of the BCC and the Credit Valley Club for many years. He spent several years recovering from a horrific cycling accident, but never lost his love of the bike. He had been riding strongly with various groups in the BCC this year.

At this time we would like to pass on sincerest condolences to his family.  We will post further details when these become available.
