Hi -

My husband and I are new members to BCC. We did a ride in the spring with BCC (we were on the tandem), so this would be our second ride with the club Since we're not familiar with your usual routes, would you be able to give us some details on this Saturday's Classic - Terra Cotta route?

We ride a lot in Caledon and there is the Bethal Hospice in Inglewood. There are 12  locations in Caledon that  have Bethal Specials. For instance Spirit Tree will donate 25% for every Pizza of the week. Tin Roof & Coywolf Coffee  $.50 from every drip coffee. For a full list check out foundation.bethalhospice.org we are are all getting older folks and this Hospice does excellent work. Please help support them during September.

Road Advisory / Ballinafad Rd/32 Side Road

Ballinafad road to be closed Trafalgar road East to ninth line starting Aug 21 to September.Might be access to eighth line but that's not much help.

There will be a shorter version to ride with a lunch break in Jordan or Calamus. The distance is 83 km.

Checked the roads along our ride. There are some closures on and around Pelham Road. Therefore we have to ride about 5 km more than last year. Total 108 km, Lunch at Rockway Vineyards with beautiful vista about half way.

Club Rides / Niagara Memorial Ride August 1...

Our annual Niagara Memorial Ride is coming.
Please make your plans for Saturday August 12 will not collide with the ride.
Also make sure to register for the club ride in BCC app.
I am going to scout the routes and wineries along our route on Friday, August 4.

We may modify the ride to include potential detours and booking the establishments for lunch and wine tasting.

Road Advisory / Bridge over QEW

Please be advised that the pedestrian/cycling bridge over the QEW connecting Ogden Avenue, south of the QEW, and Stanfield Avenue, North of QEW, by Applewood Village Plaza in Mississauga has been taken down. So riders will have to take either Cawthra (westwards) or Dixie (eastwards) to get over QEW.
