Clothing / BCC Clothing order dead line M...
Last post by Chet - March 29, 2023, 04:17:23 PM
Hey, I want to purchase the BCC bibs. But I do not want to pay $20 in shipping, is anyone else ordering their kit and I can jump on your order? I just need the bibs in M size, race (9 hour) pads with no other upgrades. Since we all live in Brampton, it can save us the shipping costs and I see it was ordered as a group earlier. I can pay in advance of the order.

Only 2 days left so if anyone is willing to do so, please let me know. I only have 1 shorts and 2 bibs (black bibs) and I want to buy a nice premium bib for this summer.

You can email me at Chetanya.gupta96@gmail.com or call at 416 305 6019.

Thanks,
Chet

Welcome @Adamridesbikes, @Al DeSaegher & @Chet! Great to have you all onboard.

Please note that Our VP Touring - Steve J, has scheduled our first BCC Group Riding Clinic for Sunday April 16th. This is a good place to start if you have no experience riding in a peloton(group)!

More about this clinic can be found in the CycleClub App.

Hey, Chet here. I have been riding my bike casually for a few years. I love cycling and often cycle on Zwift in winters and on Etobicoke trail or in Caledon in summers. First time joining a club (the free dues promotion). I am looking forward to riding with you all.

Thanks,
Chet

Hello all.  Al D here.  I am also new to club riding, but I have been riding a bit with a few other riders from our Probus club over the past few years.  Most of the Probus rides are on the Etobicoke Creek Trail north from Brampton into Caledon.  I hope to be able to increase my average speed by riding with BCC.  Hope to ride with you soon!

Club Rides / Finger Lakes Tour - June 16-18...
Last post by Allen McGregor - March 25, 2023, 09:00:01 PM
The 3 day Finger Lakes Tour is scheduled for June 16-18 2023. You are free to join any or all of the rides. Please register on the Cycle Club App or Website for the days you plan to attend, so we can better plan groups and ride leaders. Links to the routes are available on Cycle Club.

Club members are responsible for booking their own accommodations. The Friday ride starts at 10:00 AM to allow time to drive from home in the morning.

If you are OK with basic accommodation, several club members (including myself) are staying at the Lafayette Motel. The motel has a decent restaurant and a nice courtyard to hang out at after the rides.

Traditionally many of us go to the Wegmans grocery store on Friday evening and eat out on the patio. There is a good selection of hot food, a burger bar and beer on tap.

We will break into Touring/Easy Roller and Classic/Sportif paced groups at the start of the rides.

Good afternoon. Adam M. It's my first time joining a club. I typically ride solo or with one other riding partner. I'm trying to expand my horizons. Look forward to joining some group rides. Cheers

Our community is now much bigger with several new members this year, welcome to the Brampton Cycling Club community!

Please introduce yourself and if you have any questions, we have plenty of experienced members who can help answer them for you.

Some questions you may have:
- Which group should I ride with?
- How do I sign up for a ride?
- How do I get my hands on that good looking club kit? :)

Classifieds / Gravel bike for sale - size 54...
Last post by Julie Rossall - March 23, 2023, 02:31:32 PM
SOLD

My 2021 Rocky Mountain Solo 50 (54cm) is for sale because I'm upgrading. Tried and true on all surfaces (paved, gravel, rail trail, rocky double track, singletrack). It's a 1 X 11 and tubeless, GRX, 700 X 40c, and bikepacking ready with 3 bottle cages, and rivets on the forks for extra carrying capacity.  Link below for photo and full specs, the only change is the saddle.

This royal blue and black beauty was protection taped when brand new, so there's very little cosmetic wear and tear. It has just been meticulously serviced by one of the GTA's top mechanics, so has a new chain, BB, sealant and bar tape, and everything has been cleaned, tightened, and lubricated, etc.

https://resources.bikes.com/en/bikes/solo/2021 (** be sure to select "50" in the drop down box)

Asking $1,500
