Title: A place to remember Ken and Alma Wilkes
Post by: John Bachmann on February 27, 2020, 07:43:51 PM
This message was posted on behalf of Mike and Phil Wilkes, Ken's sons.

So, Phil and I finally had a Memorial Bench for Alma and Ken installed at Snug Harbour in Port Credit, Mississauga. It's the second last bench on the pier in behind the Snug Harbour Restaurant. It was installed during the Christmas Holidays. We were able to visit it as a family on the 29th, but the weather was terrible so we didn't spend too much time that day.

It's a beautiful spot that Alma and Ken used to visit quite often. I'm sure they would love the view of Lake Ontario that they have. I'm also sure they would love to have any one of you stop by for a coffee and a chat.

Oh how wonderful! I propose a ride out to the bench, perhaps a picnic as well.
