The Hockley Valley general store is temporarily closed after car crashes in the building.

A 26-year-old Orangeville woman has died after crashing into the Hockley General Store in Adjala-Tosorontio, Ont. during the early morning hours of Saturday, Nottawasaga OPP say.

Officers were called to the scene at Hockley Road and Mono-Adjala Townline at 4 a.m. for a report of a Mazda that crashed into a building, police say.

As of Thursday Aug 29 the accident investigation is winding down and clean up can begin.
Management states that the repairs will follow and that for the foreseeable future store will remain closed for an indeterminate length of time.
Plans for reopening would then be posted on Facebook and possibly their website.
