Title: 5 Sideroad and Trafalgar
Post by: Thomas Bruck on November 19, 2023, 10:09:07 AM
Watch for 4 (four) new speed humps on #5 Side Road, east of Trafalgar Road. The first one is just past Trafalgar (at the school) and the last is past the second (RH) turn.

You can go pretty fast over them. Just make sure you are holding the handlebars tight and your feet "standing" in the pedals. Your legs and arms should be acting like springs. The torso should be in a higher position (your crotch barely touching the saddle) at the uphill of the hump. Your "limp springs" contracts (bend) towards the peak of the hump and immediately stretch after the peak. This will happen very fast! Some practice would be recommended.

Stay safe!

PS The humps are one solid asphalt mass from left to right without gaps.
