Today 7th June I was cycling East on Derry road. A CAA tow truck gave me about a foot clearance as he was turning on Winston Churchill. Later up the road I am stopped at the light at Mississauga road and a Police SUV pulls along side me. The passenger window goes down. The officer asks me if I am having a good day, I reply great especially with the wind behind me. She then holds up her cell phone with a photo of me on the bike and says " May I use this photo on Twitter to make people aware of the 1 metre rule" Course I said that would be okay.
