Title: Can anyone spare a bike for the summer?
Post by: John Bachmann on June 03, 2018, 06:10:48 PM
A couple of weeks ago we were contacted through our website by a rider from Germany, Florian Winkl, who is working for a Magna company until August and living in Brampton. This past Saturday he rented a bike and did a trial ride with our Touring Group and enjoyed it very much.

He would now like to join our club and ride with us until he leaves on August 31 but, of course, renting a bike for every ride is not an option.

Does anyone have a spare bike, preferably a 50 cm frame, although a 52 cm might do, that they would be wiling to lend to Florian?

John my "2nd bike" is still in perfectly good shape - it's a Giant TCR, 52cm. I'd be happy for Florian to use it if he can make it work.

Thank you very much, Jason.

I'll let Florian know and get you two in touch with each other.

He'll go back to Germany raving about how friendly we Canadians are!  Thanks again.
