Hi Mats and Eddie.

I guess the app has effected android users in so far as logging in issues.  I have not seen ride start info for rides on the 18th. I'm presuming go or no go info is yet to come?

Please advise

Morning everyone,

Quick heads up. The Cycle Club App isn't working properly for folks on Android phones right now. Looks like a recent Android update may have caused the issue. We don't know yet how long it'll take to get fixed.

Since we've got rides tomorrow and the weather's looking a bit iffy, we're going to use this thread to post the key info:

Whether tomorrow's rides are on or off Start time Start location

Check back here later today or first thing tomorrow morning. We'll update as soon as we've got a clear picture.

If you know a club member who hasn't seen this, please pass it along.

Thanks for your patience on this one.

Cheers,
Mats VP Touring,

If you've been thinking about switching from oil lube to a waxed chain but don't want to deal with the cleaning and waxing process yourself, I can do it for you.

Includes ultrasonic cleaning of the chain before waxing. If you want, I can also ultrasonic clean your cassette as well.

Pricing:
  $20 for a rewax
$30 to strip and wax a new chain

Waxed chains run cleaner and stay much less messy than traditional oil lube. Message me if you're interested.

Hi BCC cyclists,
I am a new member of BCC. I have been successfully retired for 6 years. For the last 15 years I was a an episodic cyclist. For the last 2 summers I became a regular 3 times a week cyclist. One of my weekly summer rides was with your colleague George Shepperdley. I have decided to increase my commitment to cycling by buying a new bike at the end of last summer and by joining your organization. One of my goals is to improve my fitness so that I can survive the 200 km Princess Margaret cancer fund raiser this June. Another goal is to spend some time with dynamic people, make some new friends and share some laughs. I look forward to cycling with you.

That's too bad, I always enjoyed going there.
Thanks for the heads up Vern.
