https://mountpleasantgroup.permavita.com/site/OvidiuCornelMuntean.html

Please find attached a link to the events for Ovi Muntean this week.
Ovi's family has expressed a strong desire to have BCC visible and to participate in a bike procession following the funeral service.
If you wish to participate please plan the following;
Bring your club Jersey, helmet and bike and be prepared to ride immediately following the funeral service . This will probably be shortly after 11:15am.  On our bikes, we will follow the lead car from the funeral building to the grave site on the same property.  We are welcome to wear our cycling jerseys during the funeral but cycling shoes will not be permitted in the facility.  We expect this procession will take place regardless of the weather so please be prepared.  This message, along with our forum will be available to all current members of BCC.  Please feel free to share this with any past members you feel may be interested in joining the event.

Ovi was a fast rider who usually went out with the Classic and faster groups. Those of us in the slower groups may remember him from the club social events. Here is a photo of him at the 2022 Year End Brunch. He was a gentleman and will be missed.

Last post by Geoff Milan - May 01, 2024, 09:03:32 AM
It is with great sadness to share with membership the news that Ovi Muntean suffered a fatal accident on the April 30th Classic group ride.  More details will be provided once we have the report from Peel Police.  At this time, our thoughts and prayers are with Ovi and his family.

General Discussion / Re: 2023 Introductions

Welcome Amoke and Rohit.
Looking forward to meeting you and riding together. Every ride is a beautiful ride! And every ride makes us a better cyclist.
This link will take you to our touring page which has information and links that all new members should read. https://bramptoncyclingclub.com/touring/
If you haven't had experience riding in group formation (a peloton) then it is strongly recommended that you attend a group riding clinic prior to joining a club ride. The first of several riding clinics is posted on CCA events for April 14.
See you folks soon.

Hi everyone, I'm Rohit and a new member of the BCC! I moved back to Ontario from BC recently and looking forward meeting new people and an amazing summer of rides; I took up cycling when I was in Vancouver and managed to complete Whistler Gran Fondo (highly recommend). Hope to become a much better cyclist this year!

Hi, I am Amokeontop, I just moved to Brampton and can't wait to tour and have fun with everyone. I've been a recreational rider for about 3yrs, I ride with a community back home in Nigeria. I look forward to beautiful rides with BCC
