Touring Overview

Count yourself in for our weekend and mid-week tours of varying lengths and speeds through the rolling country around the GTA and beyond. As noted below, we have eight different speed and distance groups ranging from our Beginners to our fastest Sportif Group. We have organised rides on Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday mornings as well as Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Specific details of all scheduled club rides including dates, start times, start locations, ride group and, if posted, Tour Leader and planned cycling route information, can be viewed in our Cycle Club App account.

Riders new to the club are asked to contact the VP Touring either by e-mail prior to their first ride so that we can be sure that they join the group most suited to their needs. Riders are not locked in to any one group and may later change to a faster or slower group based on their comfort level.

Before joining your first ride with us, please make sure that you carefully read the following documents:

At the Brampton Cycling Club, safety is a number one concern. The club offers a number of skills clinics on safe riding techniques and everyone has a role to play to ensure that groups rides are safe for all the participants.

Official, insured rides are listed in our events calendar as club rides and club tours. Rides listed on the forum unofficial and not covered by insurance.

Due to insurance requirements, only riders insured with Ontario Cycling are allowed on group rides.
